Diagnosed with diabeties in January, he faded fast. We thought he was showing so much more liveliness and youthfulness since going on insulin (twice a day, poor thing), but his frail body gave out today. He couldn't maintain that energy anymore as hard as he was trying (for us I think).
So we said our tearful goodbyes today. RIP Goliath, we will miss you!

Oh I'm so so so so sorry. Losing a pet is such a difficult thing to go through, my heart goes out to you and your family. I can tell from his photo that Goliath was a beautiful dog.

Deb- thanks, he was a great companion and in time we will probably invest our time and love in another one, but for now our hearts are heavy.
